Ever wonder what's up with Star Trek but not sure where to start? With thousands of hours of content, it can be difficult to sort through and find the comfiest episodes. Well, wonder no more! These pages give an overview of the first three Trek series and some of what I consider the best "comfort" episodes. They aren't the best episodes overall, but these episodes are food for the soul and always make me feel better when I'm down.

Star Trek, as a franchise, is the vision of a hopeful future. What if, instead of fighting, humanity bands together and lifts itself up? A future with no money, hunger, or want. In such a world, people are free to pursue their passions. Star Trek tells the story of what we could be, maybe, once we get our act together. The first three series in the franchise (The Original Series, The Next Generation, and Deep Space 9) all present unique entry points to the franchise. Additionally, they are all deeply comforting shows to watch in their own way.
